River Song

Attempts have been made over the years to the film Colorado River as its courses through the Grand Canyon, attempts challenged by the very things that made the Colorado the legend it is – isolation, violent rapids, weather extremes, inaccessibility, unpredictability.

The Colorado River is the lifeblood of the Grand Canyon, yet because of its remoteness and it was not explored completely until 1869 and even today remains a challenge to the adventuresome.

This film was created by people who could do it best, artists whose involvement with the River spans years.
With their vision we see the animals, plants, geology and the great River itself.

Produced, directed and filmed by Don Briggs
Original music composed by Arnold Black
Script by  Michael Collier

Produced by Grand Canyon Natural History Association
