Tribute to Richard Chamberlain

In the Charlottenburg Palace Park Richard was so happy
he spontaneously sang the song: "Singing in the Rain".
It had nothing to do with the sunshine
and the musical "My Fair Lady".

By coincidence Richard met in front of the
Brandenburg Gate a group multi cultural children.
They liked to make a picture with Richard.

With a nice souvenir: a Russian uniform cap,
a special present for people from the "West".

Richard saying about Berlin:
"What a beautiful city!"
"So versatile, so green and what an inspiration!"
"The city is breathing history."

Richard was very interested in museum,
art gallery and historical statues.
He visited a big ruin called "Tacheles"
used as a memorial of the last war and where
also a group of artists has their creative center.
He didn't care about his suit and walked
through the dust to the main part of the
Cultur Center of Tacheles "Fantastic Graffiti";
there he admired the art of that Berlin group.
He said he would come back
in the Summer to see a show.

Unfortunately he didn't come!

Irmgard Ade and Karin Zähle like to have an autographic.
Richard got a ballpoint of the Berlin Paper and wrote his
autographic down.
