Tele Tydzien magazine on Jan. 16 
as the best foreign actor of 1997. 
The prize ceremony gala was held at 
Warsaw's Marriott Hotel.

Chamberlain responded to the 
Telekamera award by saying, 
"Awards are a nice thing. 
Actors like to be praised, 
which is most likely a vestige of 
the child in every adult, 
actors in particular." 
He also said if the choice were up to him, 
he would have given the award to 
Al Pacino or Jack Nicholson.
