Filming in progress - soon in Salzburg too.

They will be surprised, if those scant DAILY News from May 24:

“ Forget the solar eclipse of Cape Town, it will become the  City of Stars”  and also a new Canadian-German-Austrian TV production " The Red  Phone " refers. The citizen of Cape Town become used to Stars.

It is a popular metropolis for film stars. Film productions are cheap and the basic condition for a production team are pure and inconceivable in this country.  And that so close to townships, where thousands of people still wait for political correctness, and in this enormous  film studios, re-designed former industrial halls, millions are made.

" The Red Phone ",  probably one of  the largest productions, which was ever made in Cape Town and  DAILY News will bring the city millions.

Around the 120 million Schilling ( about 7 million dollar) approximately  the large production might have brought to the city.

Now, we hear and are amazed, this production comes to Salzburg. For  7 days  " The Red Phone ", with at present the probably usually-desired actor Arnold Vosloo in the luggage, will make their camp in Salzburg. The producers, in the first place Kris Dillinger, proved in front a lucky hand.

They got Vosloo in the team, before they could suspect that the leading actor with the film " The Mummy Returns " will probably break all Red orde of cinema history. In the first days the film over USS brought in for 100 millions. What will bring this production for Salzburg, will be shown.

Of course a lot of publicity ! A new fact in the context of the film business. On June 21, a play will occur in South Africa; the solar eclipse will be the best memory of the citizen of Salzburg.

When it will be pitch-dark in South Africa, the lights will go on in Salzburg.

The lights of the film business. We’ll wait …..in excitement!
